Natalie Kyle

Natalie, a Chartered Physiotherapist with a First-Class Honours degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, specializes in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. With extensive experience in both private and NHS settings, she founded NK Physiotherapy in 2012, expanding to include a rehabilitation gym for enhanced client care. Natalie’s diverse background includes working with the Scottish Football Association, the Scottish Cerebral Palsy Team, Scottish Ladies under 16s Football, Hamilton Academicals Ladies, and Whitecraigs Rugby Club, providing physiotherapy assessments, rehabilitation, acute injury management, and first aid.

She has held senior physio positions within the NHS and is also a qualified Acupuncturist and Sports Massage therapist. Natalie’s comprehensive expertise enables her to deliver highly effective rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs. Her knowledge gained from her studies, as well as her experience working both in the NHS and privately, equips her with a robust understanding of various injuries, allowing her to administer rehabilitation programmes with significant effect.

Kate gained her first BSc degree in Greece in Sports Science and Education. She then studied Physiotherapy whilst gaining professional experience in coaching, helping athletes to compete and achieve great results at National and International level in Athletics.

After graduating in Physiotherapy in 2019, Kate moved to Scotland and started working as a Chartered Physiotherapist in a private Physiotherapy clinic in Ayrshire, treating patients with a wide range of MSK conditions.

She is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy, following her passion in treating sports injuries and helping athletes to reach their full potential.

As well as working with the clinic, Kate works as a part-time Academy Physiotherapist with Kilmarnock FC, managing acute injuries during football matches, and rehabilitating young football players in the Academy’s clinic.

She has completed her Acupuncture and IASTM qualifications, as well as courses in sporting hand and wrist injuries.

Rachel Carter

Senior Sports Therapist

Rachel is an experienced sports therapist, having worked in professional football, as well as sporting events including marathons and sports injury clinics over the last 10+ years. She has also completed additional courses including Functional Integrated Dry Needling, Cupping, Mobilisations, Fitness Instructor and Personal Training and Sports Rehabilitation and enjoys continuously learning, reading journals and new research, to keep up to date with the latest research to help you.

Rachel has a keen interest in running, cycling and enjoys competing in events. As a mum of 2 young boys, she understands the demands of juggling working life, training and running the home, and thus has an understanding on how stressful this can be and on the body.

If you have sustained a sporting injury or have general aches and pains. Rachel can more than assist with these, and can offer advice and create a rehabilitation plan to aid in your recovery.

Callum is a Sports Therapist who graduated from Teesside University in 2016. Since graduating, Callum has worked in a variety of clinical and sporting roles. He has extensive experience working in football and rugby at both amatuer and professional level.

Whether looking to return to sport, exercise or just reduce pain during day-to-day activities, Callum is qualified to assess, treat and rehabilitate to reach your goals. He has a keen interest in getting clients back to participating in the activities they love most, from walking to ultra marathon running and everything in between. Qualified to deliver a combination of mobility and strengthening exercises alongside massage and joint mobilisations to optimise the rehabilitation process.

Heather Bankier

Massage Therapist

Heather is our resident Massage Therapist. She has a degree in Sports and Physical Activity and is highly qualified in all things massage.

Heather has worked both in a sporting environment with football, and private practice, and has a keen interest in all things sports and staying active to maintain a healthy lifestyle, something she will always advocate to her clients.

Heather is qualified in deep tissue massage, sports massage and lymphatic drainage.

Chareeya graduated with first-class honours in Physiotherapy from Thailand in 2019. She then went on to work as a sports physiotherapist with youth swimmers in Thailand for two years, helping athletes of all levels to achieve their goals.

She has experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.

With a desire to deepen her knowledge and understanding of the principles of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and injury prevention, Chareeya moved to Scotland to study at the University of Glasgow. She completed her Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science and Medicine in 2022 with merits. During her studies, Chareeya also volunteered as a sports scientist at Partick Thistle Academy.

Chareeya is an energetic and passionate physiotherapist who is committed to improving the lives of patients of all ages. She believes in taking a holistic approach to treatment and tailoring personal exercise programs to meet the specific needs of her clients.
