Sports massage is good for any simple aches and pains. We have lots of sports massage clients who suffer from general neck and low back tension. We also have some active people that attend regularly to help with general muscle tension or pulls. It really can benefit a lot of ailments but to find out more just send us an enquiry.

If you have never had a sports massage before we recommend starting with 30 minutes if it is just one area for example back, neck and shoulders or legs. However if you are looking for a full body we would recommend starting at 45 minutes. After your first session if you found it okay you can increase your time accordingly. Our most popular massage is the 60 minute full body.

While it is a deeper form of massage to any other it is not designed to be painful. It will be uncomfortable at areas of tension or injured tissues however your therapist will adapt pressure to suit your needs so just let them know if it is too uncomfortable.

If it is just for a general massage to help with an injury or aches and pains you can come for your session at anytime. To get maximum benefit we do not encourage you to engage in strenuous exercise after your treatment.

If you have a sporting event coming up we would encourage you to have a session 2 days prior to your event and then potentially a follow up one day after the event. This will ensure the tissues are ready for performance and also help with recovery afterwards.

We ask where possible to bring shorts and a vest top if female however these are not essential as we will cover you with towels to ensure you are comfortable.
